LATE SPORTS REGISTRATION & REFUND AGREEMENT

LATE REGISTRATION FEE: $55

High Desert Park & Recreation is implementing a new late-registration policy to help us properly plan teams, coaches, uniforms, schedules, and player communication. Late registrations create additional administrative work, can overload volunteer coaches, may result in players missing important first practices and team expectations, and can occur after uniform/shirt orders have already been placed. We appreciate your understanding as we work to provide a positive experience for all players and volunteers.

LATE REGISTRATION POLICY

Late registrations are accepted only when space, team size, coaching availability, and program needs allow. Payment of the $55 late fee does not guarantee placement on a team.

REFUND POLICY

All registration fees are non-refundable once registration has been processed. The only exception is a documented medical emergency that prevents the player from continuing. Medical refund requests must be submitted within 3 weeks of the season start date.

No refunds will be given for voluntary withdrawal, missed practices, schedule conflicts, transportation issues, changes of mind, or removal from the program due to behavioral issues, misconduct, or violation of program/coaching rules and expectations.

PARENT/GUARDIAN ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

☐ I understand that late registration does not guarantee placement on a team.

☐ I understand that team placement depends on available space, team size, coaching capacity, and program needs.

☐ I understand that my child may have missed practices, instruction, team rules, and expectations due to registering late.

☐ I understand that a shirt/uniform may not be available at the same time as those ordered for players who registered on time.

☐ I understand that registration fees are non-refundable except for a documented medical emergency submitted within 3 weeks of the season start.

☐ I understand that no refund will be provided if my child is removed from the program because of behavioral issues, misconduct, or failure to follow program or coaching expectations.

☐ I have read, understand, and agree to the policies outlined above.
